On today’s episode of Arrow Nicely News, Lenny sits down with Deidre Rombach of The Boulevard – Wentzville to learn all about Arrow’s Acts of Service 2025 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.!
Coretta Scott King once said of Martin Luther King Day that “The holiday must be substantive as well as symbolic. It must be more than a day of celebration… Let this holiday be a day of reflection, a day of teaching nonviolent philosophy and strategy, a day of getting involved in nonviolent action for social and economic progress.”
For the past several years now, Arrow has used this quote as our rallying cry. Talk is cheap, so we wanted to make sure that we did our part to follow through on the message of Dr. King. So, to stay motivated and maintain our involvement in social and economic progress throughout the year, Arrow Senior Living created its yearly Acts of Service initiative.
